Ethics and Compliance
KAZ Minerals is committed to operating with integrity and transparency
Integrity is one of the Group’s five core values and underpins our approach to ethical conduct, compliance, and responsible business practices.
Integrity, quality and compliance
Oversight of the Group’s ethics and compliance framework is the responsibility of the Board. This includes the implementation of policies and procedures that promote high standards of behaviour across all areas of the business.
Anti-bribery and corruption
KAZ Minerals has an Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance Programme in place across all operations.
The programme is aligned with the requirements of the UK Bribery Act 2010 and forms part of the Group’s standard terms and conditions with suppliers, in place since 2011.
Risk assessments are used to identify employees requiring targeted anti-bribery and corruption training. These typically include personnel in procurement, sales, finance, general management, and those interacting with government or regulatory bodies.
Speak Up
The Group operates an anonymous reporting channel, Speak Up, which allows employees to raise concerns about suspected breaches of ethics.
All reports are reviewed and monitored by the Audit Committee, supporting a culture of accountability and openness.
KAZ Minerals continues to promote a responsible culture across the organisation and expects all employees, contractors, and partners to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct.
