Equal opportunity and non-discrimination

All recruitment, selection and promotion decisions are made based on merit and aligned with our corporate values. Every employee has access to training and development opportunities suited to their role, experience and potential.

National representation

As of 31 December 2024, 98% of permanent employees were nationals of the countries where we operate. The Group prioritises the development of local talent through training and leadership programmes, aiming to build long-term operational expertise within the existing workforce.

When international expertise is required, expatriates are employed with a focus on knowledge transfer. These roles are primarily located at Aktogay and Bozshakol, working alongside national teams.

Gender representation and inclusion

The Group is committed to improving gender balance at all levels. Up to three years of maternity or paternity leave is offered, along with re-induction training for returning employees.

Pay and progression

We regularly review salaries to ensure equal pay for equivalent roles, helping prevent gender pay disparities. Training, promotion and development opportunities are made equally available across the workforce.
