Consultation & Communication
KAZ Minerals respects the right to freedom of association and actively engages with employees and trade unions on changes to business operations and employment conditions.
Open communication channels
The Group provides several ways for employees to share feedback and raise concerns with senior management and the Board:
Line managers
The first point of contact for most concerns. In the majority of cases, this is sufficient to address employee issues.
Heads of employee relations
Each operational division has a designated Head of Employee Relations who serves as a liaison between employees and management.
Town hall meetings
Held quarterly by General Directors to provide updates and foster open discussion with employees.
Direct Line event
An annual live video session where the Chair answers questions directly from employees.
Confidential reporting
Beyond operational and HR-related matters, all employees have access to ‘Speak Up’, a confidential telephone reporting line. This channel can be used to raise ethical concerns, including issues related to:
- Bribery
- Corruption
- Other sensitive or compliance-related matters
