University Internships
University students are welcomed into our operations to gain real production skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and learn about the latest technologies in mining.
Paid Internship Programme for Young Professionals
This programme is designed to develop young talent for both blue-collar and engineering roles:
- 1-year duration for technical/vocational roles
- 2-year duration for engineering specialities
- First 2 months include safety and practical training
- Interns are assigned a dedicated mentor with real project responsibilities
- Exposure to cutting-edge equipment and operational processes
- Top performers may be offered a permanent position within the company
Educational Grants and Scholarships
To support technical education and build a sustainable talent pipeline, we offer study grants to promising students pursuing mining-related subjects. Since the programme’s inception:
- 152 grants awarded on a competitive basis
- Grants cover key technical specialities aligned with industry needs
- Many students have successfully transitioned from the programme into roles at KAZ Minerals
